Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make an impact in the lives of students by providing speech-language services in diverse K-12 settings. This is an exciting contract opportunity for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Clinical Fellow (CFY) to support students throughout the school year. Orientation begins August 3, 2026, and students return August 6, 2026; the assignment runs through May 27, 2027. Exact site location and caseload will be determined after interviews as placement numbers are finalized.

Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Illinois SLP license (or eligibility)
• Valid ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or pursuing Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
• Passion for helping children and adolescents achieve success in communication
• Experience in school-based settings with K-12 students is highly valued
• Excellent organizational, time-management, and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative therapy to diverse caseloads of K-12 students in the school environment
• Screen, assess, and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
• Develop and implement evidence-based individualized treatment plans in collaboration with educational teams
• Maintain clear documentation, participate in IEP meetings, and track student progress
• Support inclusive practices and collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families
• Adjust strategies based on data and student needs; participate in professional development
