Responsibilities

• Prevent all product lines from shutting down due to lack (or lateness) of component inventory
• Track inventory levels of all parts and components
• Create and send purchase orders to vendors
• Follow up with ETAs and decide shipping methods
• Work directly with factory staff to order materials not listed in inventory
• Source and onboard new vendors when necessary
• Record and track purchasing activities for bi-weekly meetings with management

( All these activities can be handled through our ERP system (Fishbowl Advanced). We expect whoever fills this position to be able to greatly improve the usage of this system from current state.)

Requirements

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
• Prior experience in purchasing or manufacturing
• Must be able to walk around, speak to factory employees, and review stocked inventory by sight

Preferences (Not Required)

• Experience with Fishbowl Advanced or other MRP system
