Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees.**What You'll Be Doing*** Oversee daily operations of the rock quarry in Gordon, Texas to ensure efficiency and productivity.* Achieve a production volume of 1.2 million tons per year while ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and company policies.* Implement and monitor safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.* Coordinate with various departments to optimize production and meet quality standards.* Manage inventory and ensure timely delivery of materials.* Lead and develop a team to achieve operational goals and continuous improvement.**What Are We Looking For*** Strong leadership and team management skills.* Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.* Effective communication and interpersonal skills.* Knowledge of plant operations and safety regulations.* Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure.**Qualification Requirements*** Background in aggregates or building materials* Five years of aggregates operations management experience.* Advanced understanding of geology, mining methods, and regulations.* Proven leadership skills managing multiple, diverse teams.* Entrepreneurial thinking and business opportunity identification.**Work Environment*** Fast-paced and dynamic work environment.* Exposure to outdoor elements and varying weather conditions.* Collaborative team setting with opportunities for growth and development.**Physical Demands*** Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.* Frequent standing, walking, and climbing.* Exposure to loud noises and dusty environments.* Ability to operate heavy machinery and equipment.**What We Offer*** $85,000-$95,000 base salary and participation in our annual incentive plan.* 401(k) retirement savings plan with an automatic company contribution as well as matching contributions.* Highly competitive benefits programs, including: + Medical, Dental, and Vision along with Prescription Drug Benefits. + Health Savings Account (HSA), Health Reimbursement Account (HRA) and Flexible Spending Account (FSA). + AD&D, Short- and Long-Term Disability Coverage as well as Basic Life Insurance. + Paid Bonding Leave, 15 days of Paid Vacation, 40 hours of Paid Sick Leave and 10 Paid Holidays.Equal Opportunity Employer - Minority / Female / Veteran / Disabled
