Key Responsibilities of the RN - PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care

• Provide one-on-one or one-on-two patient care in the PICU
• Utilize and manage RT equipment, including vents, CPAP, and BiPAP
• Recognize rhythm changes and implement associated interventions
• Coordinate with intensivists, APPs, and residents, who are in-house 24/7
• Work collaboratively with the charge nurse and other PICU staff

Requirements of the RN - PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care

• Active IL RN license or confirmation of application process initiated
• BLS and PALS (AHA) certifications
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in PICU, consideration given for INT employment
