Job Description
Registered Nurse - Critical Care Float Pool

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Days: 3x12-Hour shifts (07:00 - 19:30)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Critical Care Float Pool. The ideal candidate will have recent ICU experience and a strong background in critical care nursing in a Level 1 Trauma Center. You will be required to float among various critical care units, providing essential care to patients in multiple specialties.

Responsibilities

• Deliver critical care to patients across various ICU settings.
• Manage ventilator settings, IV medications, and other critical interventions.
• Provide support in telemetry and conscious sedation procedures.
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the facility's charting system (Epic).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 3 years of critical care nursing experience, ideally in a Level 1 Trauma Center.
• Recent ICU experience within the last year is mandatory.
• Current certifications: BCLS, ACLS (TNCC preferred).
• Proficiency in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias.
• Experience with Epic charting system is required.
