Join Allied Universal at a healthcare location as an unarmed patrol officer, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with strong customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $17.91 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon, Sat, Sun 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns according to site guidelines. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including hallways, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter spaces, to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points and assist with visitor screening, directions, and general support while following site protocols and escalating security-related concerns when needed. Support staff and visitors during routine operations and unexpected events by communicating clearly, maintaining a professional presence, and following post orders and Allied Universal standards. Minimum Requirements: Hospital-related vaccinations are required. Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client. Be at least 21 years of age. Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital environment. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
