Join Allied Universal at a residential location where you will manage access control, monitor assigned areas, and complete routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. You will support residents and guests with professional communication and customer service while working as part of an agile, reliable team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and/or visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points within a residential location, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and help to deter unauthorized access through assigned access control procedures.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observations according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the community, common areas, and perimeter, noting unusual activity and reporting security-related concerns.
• Maintain accurate logs of visitors, deliveries, and/or contractor activity, and provide clear directions and information while supporting property rules and community expectations.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is required.
• A guard card is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
