Job Description

Bachelor's Degree in Education, instructional design, business or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Typically possesses four or more years of experience developing and/or delivering training. Demonstrated ability to communicate both technical and non-technical material in an readily understandable manner. Under general supervision of the Training manager, participates in the development, implementation, documentation and evaluation of training; serves as training instructor; provides orientation for supervisory, administrative, professional, direct care, and support staff. Prepares instructional materials and all other duties relating to the training department. Other duties as assigned within the scope of this position.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities / Workload

• Manage all logistical activities for ILT, VILT, and CIVLT training sessions
• Coordinate venue setup, meals, and A/V requirements
• Manage participant hardware needs and troubleshoot issues as needed
• Prepare, distribute, and collect training materials for instructor-led training, including attendance sheets, data sheets, and evaluations
• Support training scheduling activities during peak periods
• Act as the communication point of contact for facilities
• Support training-related budget activities
• Support post-training follow-up activities, including parking lot items

Required Skills / Experience

• 5+ years of experience in business operations, training, organizational readiness, and/or ERP or other business transformation environments
• Experience building schedules, coordinating end-user and/or facilitator training schedules, and managing related metrics
• 2+ years leading and/or supporting training or related functions such as:
  • technical training initiatives
  • training development
  • instructional design
  • training delivery
  • training scheduling
  • learning technologies / models such as ADDIE, Kirkpatrick, Enable Now, etc.
• Knowledge of tools such as MS Project or similar scheduling tools
• Knowledge of SAP and/or S4HANA functionalities, modules, and integration points
• Experience supporting training, organizational readiness, and/or business readiness functions for enterprise-wide programs/projects
• 2+ years of experience leading or supporting cross-functional / cross-organizational teams
• 3+ years of experience collaborating with stakeholders, senior management, and team members to drive solutions and gain buy-in

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Education, Human Resources, Project Management, Instructional Design, or related field
• Understanding of ERP systems, implementation processes, and training best practices
• Knowledge of or experience in Transmission & Distribution (T&D)
