Johnson Service Group is looking for an HR Coordinator to support HR administration, onboarding/offboarding, benefits, HRIS processes, and employee records for one of our clients in San Jose. 

Contract Duration: 6 Months

Pay Rate: $34.92

40 hours/week

Responsibilities

• Support new hire orientation, onboarding, and offboarding, including packets, filing, and reporting.
• Perform OnBase scanning for HRIS and Benefits.
• Monitor the Benefits inbox and provide administrative support.
• Run routine file feeds (no configuration).
• Process approximately 30–40 telework requests daily.
• Process check requests and employee address/name changes in HRIS, CalPERS, and BRI.
• Prepare COBRA and Medicare packets.
• Support wellness event reporting.
• Organize data extracts and audit basic reports/bills.
• Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year of HR technical/administrative support, preferably in benefits, recruitment, training, or a related area.
• Experience with databases or HR systems preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, DocuSign, and Adobe PDF.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, communication, prioritization, and time management.
• Ability to multitask, maintain confidentiality, and work with high-volume administrative tasks.
• Experience with OnBase, CalPERS, or BRI is a plus.
• Ability to organize/report data and audit basic reports or bills.

License

• Valid California Driver’s License
