General Laborer Event Setup & Teardown (Temporary)

Job Overview

Partners Personnel is seeking dependable General Laborers to assist with the setup and teardown of a local festival. This is a short-term opportunity for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, can follow directions, and work well in a team environment.

Team members will help prepare event spaces by setting up tables and chairs inside tented areas before the event and returning equipment to designated locations during teardown.

Shift Schedule

• Wednesday, August 27: 2:00 PM 6:00 PM (Setup)
• Friday, August 29: 9:00 AM 12:00 PM (Setup)
• Saturday, August 30: 6:00 AM 9:00 AM (Teardown)

Candidates who can work all scheduled shifts are strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and arrange tables and chairs according to event layouts
• Tear down, stack, and organize tables and chairs after the event
• Move equipment throughout the event site
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all safety procedures and supervisor instructions
• Work efficiently with a team to complete tasks on schedule

Qualifications

• Ability to lift and carry up to 35 pounds
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and carry items throughout the shift
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in tented event areas
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
• Ability to follow verbal instructions and work as part of a team
• No previous experience required
