Freight Broker – Global Imports & Exports Location: Bayonne, New Jersey Compensation: $85,000 base + growth potential Employment Type: Full-Time We are seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to oversee global supply chain and freight operations for a large manufacturing company with significant international volume. This role is critical in managing imports from China and Europe into the United States, as well as coordinating exports as needed. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with international freight forwarding, customs compliance, and tariff classifications (HTS / HS Codes) and is skilled at negotiating competitive shipping rates while ensuring accuracy and on-time delivery. Key Responsibilities Manage end-to-end global logistics operations, including imports and exports Coordinate shipments from Asia and Europe to the U.S. Consolidate shipments to optimize cost and transit times Negotiate freight rates, contracts, and timelines with carriers and forwarders Ensure compliance with U.S. customs regulations, including proper use of HTS / HS Codes Oversee documentation, customs clearance, and delivery schedules Track shipments and resolve delays or discrepancies Work cross-functionally with purchasing, operations, and warehouse teams Qualifications Proven experience in international logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain management Strong understanding of HTS / HS Codes, customs processes, and import regulations Experience shipping high volumes from China and Europe Strong negotiation and vendor management skills Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Compensation & Growth: $85,000 base salary Opportunity for growth and advancement within the company #J-18808-Ljbffr
