Quality Engineer

Our client, an industry leader in Aerospace Manufacturing, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to join their team. As a Quality Engineer, you will support the quality assurance processes across key aerospace projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer requirements. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to quality management, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Quality Engineer

Location: Charleston, SC

Pay Range: $100,000 - $120,000 Plus Benefits

What's the Job?

• Manage and oversee quality processes across aerospace programs from contract receipt to project completion.
• Participate in audits, develop quality plans, and monitor their execution to ensure compliance.
• Lead and manage quality initiatives within aero-structure projects, ensuring adherence to standards.
• Conduct internal quality audits to verify compliance with customer and company requirements, and prepare for external audits.
• Ensure the organization consistently meets customer expectations and regulatory standards.

What's Needed?

• Degree in Mechanical or Materials Engineering.
• At least 3 years of experience in Quality Control or Manufacturing Engineering, preferably within aerospace or regulated industries.
• Knowledge of composite materials is an advantage.
• Familiarity with aviation standards such as AS9100 is beneficial.
• Strong interpersonal skills, self-motivation, and the ability to lead cross-organizational processes.
