Mechanical Assembler Job Opportunity in NewarkWe are looking for a detail-oriented Mechanical Assembler to join our team. In this role, you will perform electro-mechanical assembly, including cable harnessing, box builds, wiring, and valve assembly using schematics and drawings. You'll work in a clean room environment alongside a supportive team to produce high-quality products.ResponsibilitiesRead and follow schematics, drawings, and work instructionsAssemble cable harnesses (cutting, routing, bundling, securing)Perform box builds and enclosure assemblyComplete basic wiring and point-to-point wiringAssemble valves and pneumatic componentsUse hand tools (wrenches, screwdrivers, torque tools, calipers, crimpers)Perform soldering on electrical componentsInspect assemblies for quality and accuracyMaintain clean room standards and organized workspaceWork with a team to meet production goalsRequirements6+ months of assembly experienceAbility to read schematics and drawingsExperience with cable harnessing and wiringSoldering experienceGood attention to detail and manual dexterityAbility to multitask and work accuratelyNice to HaveElectro-mechanical assembly experienceClean room experienceInspection/quality control experienceWhy ApplyStable team with long-term employeesGrowth and skill development opportunitiesMedical, holiday, and vacation benefitsClean and organized work environmentWork ScheduleDay Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PMSwing Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PMApply today to join a team where your skills make an impact!Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Newark, CA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $28.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
