Location: Garden Grove, CA

Compensation: Starting at $70,000 annually, depending on experience, plus commissions and team overrides

Lelly Woo-Girmes State Farm is seeking an experienced, results-driven Sales Manager to lead and grow our sales operation in Garden Grove. This is an excellent opportunity for a high-performing sales professional who has worked their way up—from prospecting and closing personal business to coaching, developing, and managing a successful sales team. We are looking for someone who understands what it takes to build a winning sales culture: setting clear goals, driving daily activity, leading by example, and helping team members turn opportunities into long-term customer relationships.

What You'll Do

• Lead, coach, motivate, and hold accountable a team of sales professionals.
• Drive individual and team production across insurance and financial-services-related products.
• Set sales targets, monitor performance, and develop action plans to achieve agency goals.
• Train team members on prospecting, consultative selling, follow-up, objection handling, and closing.
• Lead from the front by maintaining strong personal production and supporting complex sales opportunities.
• Create a high-energy, positive, customer-focused sales environment.
• Review sales activity, pipeline performance, conversion metrics, and team results regularly.
• Recruit, onboard, and develop future sales talent as the agency grows.
• Build meaningful relationships with customers while identifying solutions that support their insurance and financial goals.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of Business-to-Consumer sales experience.
• A proven track record of achieving strong personal sales production.
• Prior experience managing, coaching, or leading a sales team.
• Someone who has "done it all"—from the daily grind of prospecting and follow-up to high-level production and team leadership.
• Strong communication, coaching, organization, and leadership skills.
• Ability to create accountability while maintaining a supportive, team-oriented culture.
• Experience in insurance and/or financial services is a plus, but not required.
• Bilingual ability in Vietnamese or Spanish is a plus.
• A self-starter with a competitive mindset, strong work ethic, and commitment to exceptional customer service.
