Field Service Technician

In this role, you will collaborate with healthcare professionals, going to hospital to perform software upgrade for automated medication dispensing devices. Responsibilities Perform installation, configuration, and updates for medical devices, software, and networking systems. Conduct routine checks to verify proper functionality after setup. Troubleshoot device and network issues, resolving technical problems independently or escalating complex cases. Follow calibration protocols for servicing equipment Educate healthcare staff on device utilization and software functionality. Maintain compliance with hospital vendor credentialing requirements. Requirements Ability to travel extensively for field-based service assignments. Associate degree in biomedical, IT, electronics, or a related field preferred. 1+ year of technical experience required; 3+ years in a field technician role preferred. Experience in IT support, electronics, biomedical engineering, or pharmacy technology is a plus. Must maintain personal parts inventory, sourcing from approved vendors. Assignments and Shifts Assignment based position requiring open availability Monday–Friday; work occurs 28–32 hours per week, plus travel time. Position requires some nights and weekends based on customer needs. Travel is regional, national, and local, with work scheduled during weekdays. Duties may require compliance with hospital vaccine and credentialing requirements. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time).
