Exciting opportunity for experienced Speech-Language Pathologists to make a meaningful impact within school communities near Winsted, CT! This contract position provides the chance to work with diverse K-12 students across several schools within the area, collaborating with colleagues and supporting children’s communication and academic success. Two full-time positions are available, scheduled Monday through Friday, with 35-37.5 hours each week. The contract runs from ASAP through June 2027.

Preferred candidates bring proven expertise in school settings, excellent communication, and a passion for fostering student growth. This is an in-person role—virtual or remote candidates will not be considered at this time.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active Speech-Language Pathology license in Connecticut
• CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology) required
• Prior experience in K-12 educational settings preferred
• Strong skills in assessment, intervention, and IEP development
• Ability to manage multiple sites and a diverse caseload efficiently
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills with multidisciplinary teams

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for K-12 students
• Develop, implement, and track Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Deliver direct and consultative therapy services based on student needs
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation and progress reports
• Participate in IEP meetings, staff conferences, and collaborate with educators and families
• Serve as a resource for communication strategies and techniques within the district
