Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Med Surg/Telemetry Registered Nurse to join a specialized Palliative Care Unit focused on providing compassionate, patient-centered care for individuals with serious and life-limiting illnesses. The ideal candidate will have strong Med Surg experience, excellent symptom management skills, and a passion for improving quality of life through comfort-focused care.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with serious and advanced illnesses
• Assess and manage pain, nausea, fatigue, and other distressing symptoms
• Administer medications and non-pharmacological interventions for symptom relief
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes in status
• Perform cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia management as needed
• Collaborate with physicians, case managers, social workers, and interdisciplinary teams
• Support patients and families through education, communication, and compassionate care
• Document patient care accurately in EPIC

Requirements Active RN License Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience BLS Certification required EPIC experience required Previous travel experience preferred Experience with pain management and symptom control preferred
