Care Career is seeking a travel nurse RN Clinic for a travel nursing job in Columbus, Ohio.Job Description & Requirements

Roles & Responsibilities

• Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, blood products, and supportive infusions.
• Monitor patients receiving oncology treatments and assess for adverse reactions.
• Access and manage ports, PICC lines, and central venous access devices.
• Provide patient education regarding chemotherapy, side effects, and treatment plans.
• Administer antiemetics, corticosteroids, hormonal therapies, and supportive medications.
• Recognize and respond to oncologic emergencies including anaphylaxis, sepsis, extravasation, and tumor lysis syndrome.
• Review laboratory results and communicate abnormal findings to providers.
• Document patient care accurately in Epic EMR.
• Collaborate with oncologists, pharmacists, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Provide care for patients with GU cancers, hematologic malignancies, and sarcomas.

Requirements

• Active RN License (Compact or Ohio License in hand).
• Minimum 2 years of Outpatient Clinic/Infusion Oncology RN experience .
• Previous travel experience required.
• Epic experience required.
• Current BLS Certification .
• Current Chemotherapy Certification (ONS/ONCC) – Required.
• Experience administering chemotherapy and managing oncology patients.
