Maintenance Technician Opportunity

Neogen is looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team!

Hours: Monday-Thursday 4:00pm-2:30am or Tuesday-Friday 4:00pm-2:30am

The Maintenance Technician will focus on electrical systems. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the maintainability, reliability, and availability of our equipment through proactive maintenance and testing procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform scheduled maintenance on equipment to optimize performance and minimize downtime.
• Test equipment for performance and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues and perform repairs as needed.
• Replace old or faulty electrical components and equipment.
• Provide technical support and training to staff on the operation and maintenance of equipment.
• Complete preventive maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns and reduce unplanned downtime.
• Be available to work weekends and overtime as required to support operational needs.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed.
• Initiative to contribute ideas and actions to cut costs and increase production.
• Must be "hands on" and be able to work unsupervised.

• 3 to 5 years' experience dealing with repairing down equipment, preventative maintenance tasks, electrical experience preferred
• Highschool Diploma or equivalent
