What You'll Do

• Provide expert ICU nursing care for a diverse patient population, including those with impella and NxStage devices
• Monitor patients using advanced equipment such as Alaris IV Pumps, Servo I ventilators, Edwards Lifesciences monitors, and more
• Perform lab sticks, EKGs, line starts, and operate complex medical devices
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans
• Float to various units including ICUs, ED, PACU, and MS/PCU as needed
• Ensure infection control and safety standards, including caring for isolation patients with appropriate PPE

What You Need
Required:

• Valid RN license in Louisiana
• 2+ years ICU experience, including impella and NxStage devices familiarity
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIH (CPI available on-site)
• Ability to work scheduled weekends and float to multiple units
• Strong clinical skills, critical thinking, and teamwork

Preferred:

• Epic electronic health record experience
• Experience caring for COVID-19 and other infectious disease patients
