ICU Registered Nurse - Day Shift | New Orleans, LA | $56.95/hour

Join a leading healthcare facility in New Orleans offering a competitive hourly rate of $56.95 and comprehensive benefits, with consistent weekly pay via direct deposit. This 13-week assignment features day shifts (07:00-19:30), every other weekend, and holiday commitments, ideal for experienced RNs seeking a stable and rewarding opportunity.

Licensure/Certifications: Active RN license in Louisiana, BLS, ACLS (preferred CPI & CCRN)
Experience: 2+ years ICU experience, Epic EMR experience required

Pay & Benefits:

Hourly pay: $56.95/hr
Weekly pay via direct deposit

What You'll Do:

Provide direct patient care in ICU units, including MICU, TICU, Neuro ICU, and Burn ICU as needed
Float between ICU units based on staffing needs
Monitor and assess critically ill patients, implement care plans
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Document patient care activities accurately in Epic EMR
Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and infection control standards
Respond promptly to changes in patient conditions and escalate as necessary

What You Need:

Active RN license in Louisiana or eligible to practice
Minimum of 2 years ICU experience
Epic EMR experience required
BLS and ACLS certifications (CPI & CCRN preferred)
Ability to float to multiple ICU units
Strong communication and critical thinking skills
