About This Role This role is an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join the NYU Langone Health team on a per diem basis in the Cardiac Medical Acute/ICU unit, focusing on patient care responsibilities and collaboration with the interdisciplinary healthcare team. Highlights Location: New York, NY Facility: NYU Langone Hospitals Schedule: Per Diem, Night shift Pay: $1.44/hour What You'll Do Carry out patient care responsibilities with emphasis on the nursing process. Provide competent, safe, and compassionate care based on established standards. Collaborate with providers to formulate and implement a comprehensive patient-centered plan of care. Collect, assess, and document patient healthcare data. Involve patient/family and interdisciplinary team to identify a realistic and measurable plan of care. Prioritize care based upon collected data. Document assessments and reassessments in medical records. Implement interventions in coordination of patient care in a safe and timely manner. Educate the patient/family regarding health status and established plan of care. Evaluate the patient's progress towards expected outcomes.
