Dedicated to providing exceptional customer service, we specialize in state-of-the-art door solutions for a variety of customers, including hospitals, grocery stores, and other office buildings. Door Tech of Houston takes pride in being a leader in automatic door solutions.
Role Description
We are looking for a full-time Automatic Sliding Door Service Technician based in Houston. We are looking for someone with experience and knowledge in the field. In this on-site role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing automatic sliding doors. You will inspect and test door systems, diagnose technical issues, and ensure compliance with safety and industry standards. This role involves interacting with clients, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining accurate service documentation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of tools and equipment commonly used in automatic door repair and installation
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in mechanical and electrical components
- Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
- Experience in the automatic door industry or a related field is highly desirable
- Certification in automatic door installation and repair (e.g., AAADM certification) is a plus
