Remote Water/Wastewater Treatment Project Manager

Description Join our team as a Project Manager within our Utilities (Water/Wastewater) practice area. This is a hybrid role based out of our Asheville, North Carolina office. In this role, you will contribute to the planning, design, and management of water and wastewater treatment facilities, pumping stations, distribution, and collection systems. You will oversee project execution, develop process designs, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Ideal candidates have experience in water/wastewater treatment processes, hydraulic modeling, permitting, and construction administration, with a passion for delivering sustainable and resilient water infrastructure solutions. Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience Licensed Professional Engineer 7+ years of experience in treatment design and infrastructure projects with demonstrated team management experience Proficiency in hydraulic modeling, treatment process design, pump station design, and utility infrastructure Self-motivated, engaged, and team-oriented with the ability to work independently under minimal supervision Strong leadership and project management skills as well as excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills Knowledge of contracts, accounting principles, including budgeting and forecasting Execute multiple tasks under tight deadlines and prioritize responsibilities Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail Proven track record of fostering existing client relationships The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by individuals assigned to this job.
