Travel Acute Care Float RN - $2,635 per week

Job Overview Travel Nurse RN Float position in Omaha, Nebraska. Start date 9/14/2026 for 18 weeks, 48 hours per week on 12‑hour night shifts (19:00‑07:00). Travel assignment at Nebraska Medicine facilities. Responsibilities Float across units within scope of practice, including 4CS, 5 West, 6 Neuro, 4/5 Lied, 6/7 Lied, 7 HVU, 8 Werner, 9 Trauma, Bellevue MS, Observation, SOTU etc. Provide inpatient care for adults and geriatrics in large, urban hospital settings. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team (CNA, care tech, transport, swoop/paramedics, LPN where applicable). Participate in holiday coverage (require 2 of 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's). Practice safe continuous medication drips and advanced cardiac telemetry. Assist in rapid response/code teams and interpret dysrhythmias. Follow Nebraska Medicine policies: 100% nicotine‑free, scrubs required, use of EPIC charting, etc. Qualifications Registered Nurse license in Nebraska. Minimum 2 years experience in a large, urban or Level I ICU (first timers not accepted unless 2 years Level I experience). BLS certification required; ACLS strongly preferred. EPIC charting experience mandatory. Experience managing IV drips, rapid response, non‑invasive airway, isolation precautions, and cardiac telemetry. Good communication, ability to work independently and with team. Scheduling & Compensation 48 hours per week with 12‑hour night shifts (19:00‑07:00). Weekend coverage: 4 shifts per month (Saturday, Sunday, Friday night, Saturday night).RTO up to two weeks permitted; must be submitted with application.
