• Deliver focused speech therapy interventions that prioritize aspects like language, fluency, voice, and swallowing.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, which includes physical and occupational therapists, nurses, doctors, caregivers, and family members to ensure effective and thorough care plans.
• Provide education to patients and their families, equipping them to support progress beyond clinic visits.
• Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations, ensuring seamless transitions and continuity of care along the patient's journey.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified.

Certification Requirements

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) granted by ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory within the first month of employment.
