Conduct thorough assessments on patients of all ages utilizing standardized tests and observational methods.

Create customized treatment plans catering to both immediate and long-term speech, cognitive, or swallowing challenges.

Deliver targeted speech therapy focused on improving communication skills, language fluency, vocal quality, and safe swallowing practices.

Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, and family members to develop comprehensive care plans.

Provide education for patients and families to promote ongoing progress beyond therapy sessions.

Occasionally handle inpatient evaluations and interventions, ensuring a smooth transition throughout the recovery process.

Keep thorough and timely documentation in accordance with state, federal, and organizational policies.

Stay abreast of the latest industry developments through continuous learning and collaborative discussions with peers.

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.

Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not ASHA certified.

State licensure as a Speech Therapist.

Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Knowledge of evidence-based treatment techniques across age groups, with a firm understanding of both developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing disorders.

Exceptional communication skills, fostering connections with patients, families, and interdisciplinary care personnel.

Adaptability in therapy techniques to serve a wide range of linguistic and cultural backgrounds.

Strong clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills.
