ICS is seeking a driven, hands-on HVAC Service Manager to lead our service operations in the Dallas market. This role is responsible for building and managing a high-performing HVAC service team, driving operational performance, supporting customer satisfaction, and ensuring service calls are completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards.

This is a leadership role for someone who leads from the front. We are looking for a service leader who can develop technicians, hold teams accountable, manage customer expectations, and help drive growth across assigned service divisions.

The ideal candidate has strong HVAC service experience, proven leadership ability, and the discipline to manage people, schedules, customer relationships, labor costs, and service performance metrics.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop HVAC service technicians and dispatch team members.
• Recruit, train, and retain qualified HVAC service talent.
• Oversee daily service operations, scheduling, dispatch coordination, and field performance.
• Ensure all service calls are scheduled efficiently and completed on time.
• Monitor team performance against company goals, KPIs, and service metrics.
• Serve as the escalation point for callbacks, customer concerns, and service issues.
• Drive customer satisfaction by ensuring quality workmanship and professional communication.
• Manage assigned customer relationships and maintain strong client service standards.
• Ensure the team meets or exceeds customer and company SLA requirements.
• Review company reports and communicate results, priorities, and action plans to the team.
• Conduct technician evaluations and annual reviews with operations manager approval.
• Promote and protect the company’s image, appearance, and reputation.
• Maintain and communicate weekly activity schedules.
• Ensure company systems, processes, and service procedures are followed.
• Manage labor costs, material costs, productivity, and overall performance for assigned divisions.
• Support a culture of accountability, safety, discipline, growth, and respect.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in HVAC service management, field service leadership, or HVAC operations.
• Strong technical understanding of HVAC service, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
• Experience leading HVAC technicians, dispatchers, or field service teams.
• Ability to manage schedules, workloads, service calls, callbacks, and customer escalations.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to hold teams accountable while building trust.
• Experience tracking KPIs, service metrics, labor costs, material costs, and operational performance.
• Strong customer service and relationship management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions in a fast-paced service environment.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Preferred Experience

• Commercial HVAC service management experience.
• Experience managing multiple technicians or service divisions.
• Experience with HVAC dispatch systems, service software, or CRM platforms.
• Prior responsibility for labor budgets, material costs, callbacks, SLAs, and customer retention.
• Experience recruiting, training, and developing HVAC technicians.
