Description
American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a night shift Floor/ICU/ER position requiring ICU and ED experience.
Details
- Work in a hospital Respiratory Care unit on the 2nd floor of the main hospital building
- Staffing includes 1 charge and 1-2 RTs per shift
- Patient ratios vary depending on daily census
- Equipment used includes Avea, V60, Airvo, and Radiometer ABL90
- Meditech EMR used
- Night shift hours from 7PM to 7AM
- Every other weekend required with no on-call requirement
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in the specialty
- ICU and ED experience required
- BLS and ACLS certifications required, PALS preferred
- License required if applicable
- No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
- US SSN and DOB required for consideration
- One professional reference required (two required for Florida and Missouri)
Additional Information
- Perform routine respiratory care duties across floor, ICU, and ER settings
- Black scrub attire required
- First-time travelers may be considered
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted
