Accounting Manager | Hybrid | Brentwood, TN

We're partnering with a well-established healthcare organization to identify an Accounting Manager to join its corporate finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting professional who enjoys owning month-end processes, mentoring staff, and partnering across the business in a collaborative environment.

What You'll Do

• Lead key areas of the monthly close process, including preparation and review of corporate and intercompany journal entries.
• Oversee payroll-related accounting, including payroll journal entries, tax postings, and related reconciliations.
• Manage fixed asset accounting and other assigned general ledger responsibilities.
• Review and approve bank and balance sheet account reconciliations while ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
• Maintain and enhance account reconciliation processes and related systems.
• Supervise and mentor accounting team members, providing guidance and support for day-to-day operations.
• Assist with the annual budgeting process and provide financial reporting and analysis as needed.
• Partner with internal and external auditors to support audit requests and ensure compliance.
• Help identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and strengthen internal controls.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
• 2 years of accounting experience within the healthcare industry.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience is preferred but not required.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and corporate accounting principles.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, and data analysis.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills with a proactive, detail-oriented approach.
