Key Responsibilities\n

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate clients’ progress.

• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment options, and coping strategies.

• Monitor client progress diligently, adjusting treatment protocols as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Engage in consultative sessions with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care.

• Stay informed about current research and advancements in the field of mood disorders to enhance treatment efficacy.

• Maintain comprehensive and confidential patient records consistent with legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with clients suffering from mood disorders, such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. Additional focus will be on vulnerable populations, including those impacted by homelessness, refugee status, or experiences of domestic abuse. Your compassion and commitment to understanding their unique stories will guide your therapeutic approach, helping clients navigate their emotional challenges and achieve a greater sense of stability and well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A current and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
