Work Environment\n

This position operates in a remote work setting, allowing you the flexibility to manage your own schedule while adhering to our standard business hours, Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Engaging with clients from the comfort of your environment promotes a relaxed therapy atmosphere conducive to healing and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of their mood disorder symptoms.

• Collaborate with clients to develop individualized treatment plans that take into account their personal goals, preferences, and unique circumstances, ensuring a holistic approach to care.

• Implement evidence-based treatments such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailoring methods to suit each client.

• Offer psychoeducation and support to clients and their families on mood disorders, possible treatment options, and essential self-care practices to foster ongoing emotional health.

• Regularly monitor and track client progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to maximize efficacy and improve outcomes.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure integrated care that meets diverse client needs.

• Stay informed about the latest research in mood disorder treatment, continually updating strategies to enhance patient care.

• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring privacy and quality of care.

As a vital member of our treatment team, you will primarily serve clients who are grappling with mood disorders, experiencing challenges such as depression, anxiety, or bipolar disorder. This role also provides support to specific groups, including individuals facing homelessness, refugees, and survivors of domestic violence, who require compassionate and knowledgeable care.

Qualifications\n

• A current and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is mandatory.
