Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of symptoms related to mood disorders for each client.

• Collaborate with clients to co-create individualized treatment plans that align with their specific needs, preferences, and therapeutic goals.

• Utilize established clinical methodologies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to deliver effective therapy sessions.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care practices that support recovery and emotional well-being.

• Regularly monitor client progress, adjusting treatment plans based on real-time feedback and ongoing assessments.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other health professionals to ensure holistic and integrated care for each client.

• Stay informed about the latest research and developments in mood disorder treatments to continuously enhance intervention strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on supporting individuals experiencing mood disorders, such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. Importantly, you will also serve diverse populations including those impacted by homelessness, refugees, and victims of domestic abuse, ensuring that care is culturally competent and sensitive to each client's unique circumstances.

Qualifications\n

• Current and active state licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is necessary.

Compensation and Benefits\n

• Annual salary range between USD $70,000 and $90,000, commensurate with qualifications and professional experience.
