Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Active and valid OT licensure in the state of New Jersey
• Previous experience in a school setting highly preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and staff
• Ability to tailor interventions to meet diverse student needs
• Knowledge of IEP processes and compliance requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals
• Assess and document students' functional abilities and needs within the classroom setting
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and school teams to support student access to curriculum
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that promote participation and independence
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, including IEP meetings, to support student outcomes
• Maintain accurate and thorough records and progress reports
• Offer consultation to staff and families regarding student accommodations and adaptive strategies
