Direct Hire | 1st Shift
Want your designs on the plant floor, not stuck on a desk? A respected, growing food manufacturer in Delphos is hiring a Mechanical Engineer to own the hardware that keeps production running.
What you'll do
Design change parts, guards, chutes, conveyors, and fixtures in 3D CAD and release buildable drawings
Modify and improve production equipment with safety and sanitation built in
Size and select motors, gearboxes, bearings, belts, and pneumatic components
Support utilities including refrigeration, steam, compressed air, and water
Solve repeat failures for good and help build smarter spare parts strategies
Work with fab shops and vendors from quote to install

What you bring
BS in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent design experience)
3+ years of mechanical design in manufacturing
Strong 3D CAD skills (SolidWorks a plus) and GD&T knowledge
Experience with drive selection, machine guarding, and engineering calcs
Food, beverage, or sanitary design experience a big plus
Bonus: 3-A or ASME BPE, ammonia refrigeration/PSM, vibration analysis, PE or EIT, Spanish
