Competitive salary commensurate with experience100% Company-paid Health Benefits401(k) Savings and Investment PlanTuition reimbursement programs available to qualifying employees for approved programsAdditional training programs including on the job, online through H&K Academy, manufacturer offered training, and moreResponsibilitiesEssential Duties and ResponsibilitiesPerform all work adhering to OSHA/MSHA and H&K Safety policiesKeep records of hour meter readings for power equipment at assigned locationComplete and record all scheduled required servicingMaintain all tools in good working orderReport to small tools superintendent on each visual inspection of problems that would require replacement or major repairNotify supervisor of any complications when servicing that would make equipment inoperableOverhaul small gas and diesel engines Keep a check and balance on parts and toolsMaintain cleanliness of work site and toolsReport all oil spills to supervisorTrain on use and maintenance of new toolsOther duties as assignedQualificationsRequired Skills, Education, and ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent (such as the GED) from an accredited educational institution OR 2 years of related experience and/or trainingEquivalent combinations of education and experience may be consideredValid driver’s licenseClean driving recordVerbal and written communication skillsComputer skills able to learn and use different software’s Ability to use mechanics hand and power toolsAbility to fit test & utilize appropriate PPE as neededAbility to meet physical requirements (movement, lifting, as relevant to jobPreferred Skills, Education, and ExperienceOne-year certificate from an accredited college or technical school in small tools mechanics or work experience.
