Registered Nurse-PRN

Job Title: PRN Registered Nurse (RN) – 12 Hour Day Shifts Schedule: PRN | 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM Location: Arizona Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team on a PRN basis in a skilled nursing/long-term care setting. This role offers the opportunity to take on both clinical and leadership responsibilities , ensuring high-quality care for our Veteran/Member population while supporting nursing staff and operations. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and support nursing staff during assigned shifts Oversee admissions, discharges, and daily clinical operations Conduct rounds to ensure quality of care and address patient needs Provide direct patient care and perform advanced nursing procedures as needed Assist with staff scheduling and ensure adequate coverage Support hiring, onboarding, and training of nursing staff Ensure compliance with facility policies and state, federal, and VA regulations Respond to emergencies and elevate critical issues appropriately Participate in quality assurance (QAPI) initiatives and audits Assist in investigations and maintain proper documentation Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes Qualifications: Strong knowledge of geriatric/long-term care nursing practices Ability to assess patient conditions and adapt care plans accordingly Leadership experience with staff supervision and support Excellent problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills Ability to respond effectively in emergency situations Strong understanding of regulatory compliance in skilled nursing settings Requirements: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona Preferred: 1+ year of experience in Skilled Nursing or Long-Term Care Ability to work PRN, 12-hour day shifts (6:00 AM – 6:30 PM) Willingness to learn and apply Arizona Management System (AMS) processes Why Join Us: Supportive, team-oriented environment Opportunity to grow leadership and clinical skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
