Registered Nurse Med/Surg / Telemetry

Schedule: Shift: Nights (18:4507:15) Weekend requirement: Every other weekend Contract length: 1320 weeks accepted

Requirements: Minimum 2 years recent RN Med/Surg / Telemetry experience BLS certification required NIHSS certification required Preferred: ACLS certification; Telemetry experience; Epic charting experience

Roles & Responsibilities: Monitor and interpret telemetry data, managing dysrhythmias. Provide nursing care for a variety of adult and geriatric patients with complex medical conditions. Administer medications and manage IV therapies, including peripheral, PICC, and central lines. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care. Conduct post-operative assessments and manage surgical drains and chest tubes.

Compliance / Notes: Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only). EKG testing must be completed prior to start. Candidate must complete required lab/testing within 48 hours of signing. Must be able to work required holidays; no block schedules unless a weekend block is approved.
