Accounts Payable Specialist

About the Role As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be responsible for processing invoices accurately and in a timely manner. Responsibilities Process invoices accurately and in a timely manner Review, code, and enter invoices into the accounting system Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documentation, as applicable Research and resolve invoice discrepancies, payment issues, and vendor inquiries Maintain vendor records and assist with new vendor setup Reconcile vendor statements and support month-end close activities Collaborate with internal departments to ensure proper approvals and timely payment processing Assist with ad hoc projects and other general accounting tasks as needed Qualifications 2+ years of recent accounts payable experience required Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field is strongly preferred Required Skills Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work fully onsite in South Charlotte Pay range and compensation package Compensation details are not specified in the provided job description.
