Position Details:

• Work Schedule: Monday through Friday with a flexible start time based on business needs. The typical start time is 8:00 a.m., although some assignments may require a 6:00 or 7:00 a.m. start. Employees are expected to maintain 8-hour availability each workday from their scheduled start time and have the flexibility to accommodate occasional early-start assignments.
• Monthly cell phone allowance is provided!
• Pay: $23.00/hour
• Territory: Huntington Beach, Newport Beach, Santa Ana, Anaheim, Buena Park, Garden Grove, San Clemente, Mission Viejo, Aliso Viejo
• Car allowance, mileage and gasoline reimbursement will be provided
• Must have a reliable form of transportation to travel to convenience stores & customer locations.

Position Summary

As a Sales Service Representative, you will play a pivotal role in supporting and executing strategic sales initiatives within your assigned sales region. This position is responsible for building and maintaining strong customer relationships, identifying and developing sales opportunities, and partnering closely with both Customers and Sales Team to drive business growth. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, executing our SmartStock program, ensuring compliance with company policies providing vendor and customer support through pre-books, monthly specials and a general focus on customer's needs, while delivering exceptional service to our customers.

The Sales Service Representative will be expected to actively identify opportunities to increase sales, improve product placement and availability, expand distribution, and maximize sales potential within each assigned account. Through effective account management, relationship building, data-driven decision making, and consistent execution of sales and merchandising strategies, this role will contribute to Case Growth, Same Store Sales Growth, customer retention, and overall revenue growth. The ability to leverage company-provided technology, sales tools, reporting, and resources will be critical to identifying opportunities, tracking performance, and executing business strategies that drive results for our customers, vendors, and ourselves.

Position Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong, professional relationships with customers and key store contacts to understand their needs, identify opportunities, and drive sales growth.
• Execute a detailed and specific call routine with a designated ledger of customers, prioritizing activities that maximize sales and customer opportunities.
• Partner with the Sales Team to execute strategic sales initiatives and achieve established sales, Case Growth, Same Store Sales Growth, distribution, and revenue objectives.
• Identify and pursue opportunities to increase sales, expand product distribution, improve product availability, and maximize share of space within assigned accounts.
• Utilize sales data, customer information, company reporting, and technology tools provided to identify trends, evaluate performance, uncover opportunities, and develop effective action plans.
• Maintain and execute the SmartStock program, including racks, plan-o-grams, ordering, inventory management, and merchandising activities (As needed), with a focus on driving sales and improving product availability.
• Identify and reduce out-of-stocks to capture missed sales opportunities and ensure products are consistently available to customers.
• Identify opportunities for additional distribution, new items, displays, promotions, and other initiatives that can contribute to Case Growth and Same Store Sales Growth.
• Monitor account performance and proactively identify challenges or barriers impacting sales, working with the Sales Team/Management and appropriate partners to develop solutions.
• Communicate customer needs, competitive activity, market conditions, and sales opportunities to the Sales Team and management.
• Provide vendor and customer support as needed to ensure effective execution of sales programs and initiatives.
• Use company-provided technology and mobile tools to document store activity, manage tasks, communicate results, and support sales execution.
• Maintain a strong understanding of products, programs, promotions, and company initiatives in order to effectively communicate their value to customers.
• Consistently demonstrate a sense of urgency and accountability in executing sales priorities and achieving business objectives.
• Attend to customer needs and concerns promptly and professionally, strengthening customer relationships and supporting customer retention.
• Perform other tasks and duties as assigned.
• Merchandise and/or assist in other areas as needed to support overall business objectives.
