Sr. Creative Strategist

Our client, a full-service marketing and advertising agency in Dania Beach, is looking for a Senior Creative Strategist with agency experience. This person will be a highly strategic, client-facing leader responsible for shaping integrated advertising campaigns across a diverse portfolio of consumer-focused brands. This role leads strategic development throughout the full campaign lifecycle, transforming business objectives, audience insights, cultural trends, and competitive intelligence into clear strategic direction that inspires breakthrough creative work. Partnering closely with account, creative, production, media, and analytics teams, the Senior Creative Strategist develops compelling strategic frameworks, uncovers actionable consumer insights, and creates inspiring creative briefs that drive effective, culturally relevant campaigns across multiple channels. The ideal candidate combines analytical rigor, cultural curiosity, and exceptional storytelling skills with deep experience working within advertising or marketing agency environments. Inspired by themes commonly found in creative strategist profiles and strategy job descriptions in your files, including integrated campaign development, audience insight generation, cultural research, competitive analysis, and creative brief development.

• Salary: $140-170k
• Location: Dania Beach, FL – 1-2 days/week onsite

Responsibilities:

• Lead strategic development for integrated advertising campaigns across multiple client accounts from initial brief through execution and post-campaign analysis.
• Conduct audience research to identify consumer motivations, behaviors, needs, and emerging opportunities.
• Analyze market trends, cultural movements, and consumer conversations to uncover insights that inform creative direction.
• Perform competitive analysis and category reviews to identify whitespace opportunities, differentiators, and strategic advantages.
• Develop strategic frameworks, positioning platforms, messaging architectures, and campaign territories that guide creative development.
• Write clear, inspiring, and insight-driven creative briefs that align teams around campaign objectives and opportunities.
• Partner closely with creative teams to ensure strategic integrity throughout concept development and execution.
• Facilitate client workshops, discovery sessions, brainstorms, and strategic planning meetings.
• Translate complex research, data, and business challenges into compelling narratives and actionable recommendations.
• Present strategic thinking, campaign recommendations, and insight-driven storytelling to clients and senior stakeholders.
• Collaborate with account, media, analytics, production, and creative teams to deliver cohesive, omnichannel campaign solutions.
• Evaluate campaign performance and identify key learnings to optimize future strategic recommendations.
• Stay current on consumer trends, emerging platforms, cultural shifts, and industry best practices to ensure work remains relevant and effective.
• Contribute to new business efforts, pitches, and thought leadership initiatives as needed.

Required Qualifications:

• 8+ years of creative strategy experience within an advertising agency, marketing agency, brand consultancy, or similar environment.
• Proven experience developing integrated advertising and marketing campaigns for consumer-facing brands.
• Strong expertise in audience research, consumer insights, cultural analysis, market research, and competitive intelligence.
• Demonstrated ability to build strategic frameworks, brand positioning, messaging strategies, and campaign platforms.
• Exceptional creative brief writing skills with a track record of inspiring strong creative work.
• Strong understanding of brand strategy, communications planning, and the customer journey.
• Experience leading strategy across digital, social, experiential, content, retail, and traditional media channels.
• Outstanding presentation, storytelling, and client communication skills.
• Ability to synthesize qualitative and quantitative research into actionable strategic recommendations.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and critical reasoning abilities.
• Experience managing multiple projects and client relationships simultaneously in a fast-paced agency environment.
• Collaborative leadership style with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
