We are hiring an experienced, detail-oriented Quality Technician to support quality inspection and manufacturing operations in Socorro, TX . If you have experience with quality inspections, measurement tools, and manufacturing processes, we want to hear from you.

Job Details

Position: Quality Technician

Pay: $15.50–$18.00 per hour

Location: Socorro, TX 79927

Job Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Monday–Friday

Overtime: May be required based on business needs

Language: English required; bilingual preferred

What You’ll Do

• Perform incoming, in-process, and final product inspections
• Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measurement tools
• Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records
• Identify and report defective or non-conforming materials
• Monitor production processes for quality compliance
• Assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions
• Support ISO, SPC, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Work with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues
• Prepare quality reports and track inspection results

What We’re Looking For

• Quality inspection or manufacturing experience preferred
• 3+ years of related experience is a plus
• Experience with precision measurement and inspection tools
• Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, SPC, 5 Whys, Fishbone, and CAPA is preferred
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems is a plus
• Basic Microsoft Excel and Word skills
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed
• Comfortable standing and walking for extended periods
