Customer Care Representative

Our client, a leading organization in the insurance industry, is seeking a Customer Care Representative to join their team. As a Customer Care Representative, you will be part of the Customer Service Department supporting the insurance services team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, adaptability, and a customer-focused attitude, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Customer Care Representative Location: North Kingstown, RI Hours of Operation: 8am-8pm Onsite Schedule: 6 weeks in office for training; up to 5 times per month after training Pay Rate: $17.00/hr What's the Job? Respond to inbound inquiries regarding insurance coverage submitted by association members through various channels Assist clients with enrollment processes and servicing policies effectively Make outbound calls to follow up on prospects, telemarketing efforts, and service questions requiring research Perform administrative tasks such as preparing memorandums and letters related to sales and service inquiries Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, team members, and carriers, providing detailed explanations of products and policies What's Needed? High School diploma or equivalent; or three to five years of related experience and/or training Experience in a call center environment is required Knowledge of customer service principles, insurance lines of business, and sales techniques Effective oral and written communication skills, along with personal computer proficiency Ability to adapt to new work methods, policies, and ongoing change while working within company culture What's in it for me?
