Registered Nurse I (RN) - Medical and Cardiac Observation

Registered Nurse I (RN) – Medical & Cardiac Observation Full‑time nursing position in the Medical Observation and Cardiac Observation units (23 and 10 beds respectively) at Atrium Health Cabarrus, a Level III trauma center. Hours per week: 36. Schedule: FT 7P-7A, 3 days a week with weekend rotation. Location Atrium Health Cabarrus, a 457‑bed tertiary care facility serving Cabarrus, Mecklenburg, and surrounding counties. Responsibilities Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Use evidence‑based practice, clinical decision‑making, compassion, and skillful communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience. Qualifications Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program (not a new graduate). Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the nurse practices. Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association. Compensation and Benefits Pay range: $38.20 – $57.30 per hour. Base compensation within the listed pay range based on qualifications, experience, and training. Premium pay such as shift, on‑call, and other applicable bonuses. Incentive pay for select positions.
