Associate Researcher II - Urology

Description Associate Researcher II conducts experiments, analyzes results, and supports research projects under limited supervision within the Milton and Carroll Petrie Department of Urology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Responsibilities Conduct experiments using advanced research techniques specific to the subject matter of the research project. Analyze and assist in interpreting moderately complex results. Perform assays to support research studies. Assist in new and unexpected research experiments and techniques. Assist in the collection, analysis, and review of experimental data for publication and presentation. May train less-experienced research staff and postdoctoral fellows in research techniques and use of equipment. Perform other related duties. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in sciences or related field or equivalent experience. 2 years in a research environment or 1 year plus Master’s Degree in sciences or related field. Compensation Salary range: $66,482.07 – $84,560 annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and operational need. The range does not include bonuses, incentives, differential pay, or other benefits.
