As a Front Desk Security Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will welcome visitors, manage access control, monitor alarms and badge activity, and provide exceptional customer service. You will maintain a professional presence, communicate clearly with tenants and guests, and help support a secure environment. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeThur11:00 PM - 07:00 AMFri11:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide exceptional customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or employees at a commercial real estate front desk by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate. Greet and screen visitors, manage access procedures, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor and contractor logs in accordance with site requirements. Monitor building entry points, cameras, alarms, and communications systems; report unusual activity, access concerns, and maintenance-related issues to appropriate personnel. Respond to incidents, requests for assistance, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation procedures. Answer phones, provide directions and building information, receive deliveries, and support a professional, welcoming lobby environment. Minimum Requirements: Previous access control and badge experience is preferred. Possession of a guard card or license is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Previous alarm panel experience is preferred. Previous customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
