Accountant - part time

Lead AccountantOversee and maintain all accounting functions - GL, AP, AR, bank reconciliations, produce monthly financial statements, etc. Update and maintain financial accounting software - Quickbooks online Assist the management team in job costing, project P/L and financial analysisTeam Qualifications (Requirements): Must have 5+ years of experience in accounting with a remodeling/home improvement/construction company Proficient with QBO, MS Excel, MS Word, other software Must be process oriented Driven to join our team and add value through positivity and dedication Must be able to prioritize and manage time, and be extremely organized Excellent communication skills Fluent in English Be willing and able to work 20 - 30 hours weekly, which will vary based on the workload and time of year Be willing to work in person 4 - 6 hours per day (4 - 5 days per week depending on your preference)Role on the Team (Job Responsibilities): Assist other team members when needed and foster a positive working relationship with other departments. Manage day to day accounting functions for home improvement and remodeling projects Possess strong listening and communication skills, ask questions and monitor various aspects of the business to detect problems Handle all job costing and billing Prepare monthly financial reports and project forecasts Maintain all accounting, computer and financial records Reconcile project budgets and monitor profit margins Maintain compliance with accounting standards and company policiesCompensation: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour Since 1966, Paul Davis has been an industry leader in the areas of property damage mitigation, reconstruction and remodeling.
