Job Description

Join a travel contract as a Registered Nurse in a step-down/PCU setting in Hazard, Kentucky. You will care for higher-acuity patients who require close monitoring beyond a traditional medical-surgical unit, working with a typical 1:5 ratio and using the Meditech electronic medical record. This assignment is suited for an experienced step-down nurse who is comfortable floating within scope, working every other weekend, and adapting to rotating scheduling needs. Blocked scheduling is not available.

Current step-down or PCU experience of at least two years is required, along with AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, NIH certification, and a valid Kentucky or compact nursing license. A 12-hour night schedule provides a consistent overnight rhythm for this 13-week contract.
