Job Summary Performs and reports laboratory procedures to ensure optimal patient outcomes, utilizing laboratory skills. Responsible for assigned shifts, with availability for overtime and callbacks. Responsible for assigned shifts, with availability for overtime and callbacks. Performs additional duties as assigned. Responsibilities Receives, identifies, organizes, and prioritizes specimens for accurate and timely testing. Performs laboratory tests and reports results. Conducts quality control, proficiency testing, routine instrument maintenance, and inventory management. Ensures positive patient identification to minimize errors and adverse outcomes. Evaluates data, draws conclusions, and supports continuous learning. Completes assigned goals and provides instruction to personnel and students as needed. Qualifications & Skills Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology from an accredited program. Clinical laboratory experience preferred. Basic computer literacy required; advanced skills preferred. Must hold national certification compliant with federal and state regulations; ASCP certification preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr
