2027 Future Talent Program - Biostatistics and Research and Decision Sciences - Health Economics & Data Science Intern

A 10-12 week summer internship with Merck's Health Economics and Data Sciences team, supporting health economic model development and health technology assessment submissions. Interns will work on quality assurance, data standardization, and tool development in a hybrid format at Pennsylvania or New Jersey locations.
Responsibilities
- Support quality assurance testing for budget impact and cost-effectiveness models
- Conduct systematic data standardization, review, and collection for economic models
- Develop tools to enhance quality assurance and submission readiness activities
- Support benchmarking activities for deliverables
- Create capstone presentation documenting internship activities and outcomes
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in Master's or PhD program in science-related discipline
- Available full-time hybrid work for 10-12 weeks starting May or June 2027
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Knowledge and experience in economic evaluation of medical interventions
- Expertise in health economic model development and dissemination
Compensation: $39,908 - $111,111
